Lead DevOps Engineer – Build Scalable Infrastructure

About the role

Onoff is entering a new phase of growth and needs a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer to shape and evolve the platform that powers all its products. This hands‑on leadership role combines technical expertise with team mentorship to build reliable, scalable, and cost‑efficient systems for a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and develop a team of DevOps engineers while staying actively involved in technical problem‑solving.
• Design, operate, and continuously improve AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure to support international expansion.
• Drive automation by enhancing Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and operational workflows.
• Own monitoring, observability, incident management, and ongoing performance improvements.
• Balance cloud cost optimization, security, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams to align infrastructure with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading DevOps, platform, or infrastructure teams in SaaS, telecom, or large‑scale technology environments.
• Hands‑on leadership mindset with a passion for mentoring while staying close to technology.
• Strong technical judgement to balance reliability, scalability, security, and cost.
• Continuous improvement mentality and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
