Maintenance Operation Control Engineer

About the role

As a Maintenance Operation Control Engineer you will ensure the airworthiness and operational readiness of Marabu Airlines' A320neo fleet. Working within the Maintenance Control team, you will coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, liaise with flight crews and line maintenance providers, and lead AOG situations to keep flights on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for the A320neo fleet.
• Maintain continuous liaison with flight crews, line maintenance providers, and Operations Control regarding aircraft status and required actions.
• Prepare and manage short‑term maintenance planning and track open defects.
• Identify bottlenecks in line‑maintenance processes and support spare‑parts ordering and shipment management.
• Keep maintenance records up‑to‑date in the tracking system.
• Lead AOG handling from initial response through aircraft return to service, providing regular updates to internal and external partners.
• Visit line stations and SCAMT providers for on‑site technical supervision.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably as Certifying Staff on the relevant type.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays (24/365).
• Willingness to travel regularly according to operational needs.
• Eligibility to live and work in the EU.

Required skills

• Aircraft maintenance expertise, especially on the Airbus A320neo.
• Part‑66 B1/B2 licence (or equivalent certification).
• Experience with aviation‑specific maintenance monitoring and scheduling software.
• AOG situation management.
• Spare‑parts ordering and logistics coordination.
