Quality Engineer – Product & Process Improvement

About the role
Stoneridge is seeking a Quality Engineer to coordinate quality‑related product and process improvements across its automotive and industrial product lines. You will ensure compliance with quality standards, support new product launches, and act as the primary liaison for customer quality issues.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute and follow up on product audits to verify compliance.
- Manage customer quality concerns, perform claim analysis and communicate findings.
- Support new product launches with quality expertise and participate in project development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback to internal teams.
- Escalate major non‑conformities, stop production when necessary and initiate quarantine actions.
Required profile
- BSc degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electronics, embedded products or mechatronics.
- Fluent in English and the local language.
- Knowledge of automotive quality tools and problem‑solving methods.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.
