Senior Operational Risk Officer

About the role

As a Senior Operational Risk Officer at Luminor, you will strengthen the bank’s operational risk framework and provide independent oversight of change initiatives. You will work across the Pan‑Baltic region, helping the organization navigate transformation safely and sustainably.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and continuous improvement of the Change Risk Management Framework.
• Provide independent review, challenge and oversight of change projects, programmes, technology, process and transformation initiatives.
• Advise stakeholders on risk policies, procedures and control enhancements.
• Identify, assess, monitor and report operational risks across the bank.
• Contribute to risk reporting for senior management, governance bodies and regulators.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging trends to enhance risk practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and act as a backup for colleagues when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operational risk, non‑financial risk, change risk management or transformation programmes.
• Higher education in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies and assessment techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and adapt to changing business needs.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
