Solutions Engineer - EMEA

About the role

Veriff is looking for a commercially minded Solutions Engineer to join its EMEA team and partner closely with Sales to drive new business and accelerate revenue growth. The role suits someone who combines technology with business, thrives in a collaborative environment and sees Solutions Engineering as a revenue-driving function rather than traditional technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive technical sales engagements and accelerate opportunities
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, requirements and business objectives
• Deliver product demonstrations showcasing Veriff's value proposition
• Manage technical evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements
• Identify and resolve technical objections and deal blockers
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Share customer insights with Sales, Product and other teams, and contribute to reusable demos and technical sales materials

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, technical pre-sales or a similar customer-facing technical role
• Strong commercial mindset and understanding of how technical expertise drives revenue
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage technical and business stakeholders
• Proactive, self-starter who can take ownership of opportunities and manage multiple opportunities at once
• Professional fluency in English, written and spoken
• Nice to have: experience in identity verification, KYC/AML, fraud prevention, fintech or payments; familiarity with GDPR, eIDAS or financial services compliance; proficiency in Spanish, German, French or Portuguese; experience with enterprise sales cycles, RFPs or competitive evaluations; programming in JavaScript, Python or mobile frameworks; familiarity with MEDDICC or Salesforce

Required skills

• Solid technical knowledge of REST APIs, SDKs, webhooks, JSON and modern integration architectures
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman
• Experience with technical discovery, product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements
